Interior íntimo de Güemes 125, Cafayate

Before becoming a restaurant, Güemes 125 was a family home. A place of gatherings, long evenings at the table, music and friendships that always found one more chair around it.

This house also holds a piece of Cafayate's history. It was here that Palo Domingo asked Jorge Díaz Bavio and Oscar «Yuyo» Montes to write a zamba dedicated to the town's traditional serenades. From that encounter was born «La Serenateña», a work created in collaboration by both authors.

In the courtyard of this house, the zamba was performed for the first time, with Jorge Díaz Bavio, Oscar «Yuyo» Montes and the bandoneon of Juan Carlos Marín. Over time, La Serenateña became one of the most representative songs of Cafayate and part of the cultural identity of our town.

That spirit lives on. Today we welcome those who visit us with a gastronomic proposal developed alongside chef Luciano Vallejo, where the kitchen seeks to express the flavors and products of the Calchaquí Valley from a contemporary and approachable perspective.

Many of the ingredients that reach the table are part of our own story. Among them, the artisanal cheeses from Cabras de Cafayate, central to several of our dishes.

The experience is completed with a selection of wines from Familia Domingo, alongside labels from partner wineries and signature projects, chosen for their identity, their origin and the stories behind each bottle.

Güemes 125 is a home where cuisine, wine, music and hospitality continue to write new stories.

More than a restaurant, we're still a home. Only now the table is bigger.

Domingo Hermanos

wine as expression of the valley.

The story began long before the labels existed.

Domingo Hermanos was born from a family that has lived, worked and grown alongside the Calchaquí Valley for generations. It is a way of telling Cafayate through wine: its landscapes, its light, its vastness and the character of a unique land.

Each of our vineyards offers a different perspective of the valley. That is why we seek each harvest to preserve the identity of the place it comes from and express, with authenticity, what makes this region so special.

More than a winery, it is a family story that continues. A story of land, work and time, that keeps being written vintage after vintage.

Domingo Molina

the search for great high-altitude terroirs.

Domingo Molina represents the second generation of a family that found in wine a way to express its identity and deep bond with the Calchaquí Valley.

This project is born from the constant search for high-altitude terroirs, where the combination of climate, soils and thermal amplitude gives rise to wines of great character, freshness and elegance.

Each label is the expression of a unique place. We seek each harvest to preserve the identity of the vineyard it comes from and reflect, faithfully, the landscape that gives it life.

Domingo Molina is a tribute to our roots and, at the same time, a look towards the future. An invitation to discover the richness of the Calchaquí Valleys through wines that speak of their land, their altitude and our history.

Cabras de Cafayate

the value of artisanal products born from the same landscape.

Cabras de Cafayate was born from a conviction: that great cheeses begin long before they reach the table.

What started as a family project dedicated to goat farming transformed, over the years, into an artisanal cheese dairy where each piece reflects a commitment to quality, respect for raw materials and the unique character of the Calchaquí Valley.

We make our cheeses with milk from our own herd, combining cheesemaking tradition with techniques from different regions of the world. The altitude, the dry climate, the valley's pastures and the daily work of our family are part of the identity of each one.

Today, Cabras de Cafayate is one of the pillars of Güemes 125's gastronomic proposal and a way of sharing, through its flavors, the essence of our land.
